Who responded to the survey?
96% of you already own an RV, 2% are in the market for your first.
How do you use your RV?
- 44% of you are part-timers (out in the RV most weekends and vacations),
- 29% are "some-timers" using the RV less than 10 times a per
- 24% are full-timers, and 14% use it for transportation (and lodging) for sports activities and family gatherings.
- 6% of you are in the process of transitioning to full-time.
In the past, how likely were you to book your campground reservations in advance?
35% said you ALWAYS booked your campground reservations in advance, 25% “Most of the time,” 19% “It depends on where you're going,” and 18% “Rarely,”
Based on what you are hearing, will you book your campground reservations differently in 2021 (assuming you weren’t an “always book” kind of camper)?
Not quite half of you—48% are more likely to make a reservation in 2021, while 35% will stick to your usual style, and only 17% “Don't know yet.”
How concerned are you about campground availability in 2021?
60% of respondents said they were concerned. 25% were neutral—taking that “wait and see” approach. And 14% said, “we always find a place—not concerned.”
The most encouraging answer?
97% of respondents said “YES, we’re going camping this year.” RVing is the way to go. (But we knew that, right?)
